Alfred Nobel: The Man Behind The Peace Prize

The book “Alfred Nobel : The Man Behind The Peace Prize” is a biography book about Alfred Nobel written by Kathy-Jo Wargin and illustrated by Zachary Pullen. I think this book is made for the kids about grade 4-5. In the story, the main character and his brother invented a powerful tool, but the main character’s brother died in a accident of explosion, so the main character decide to find a way to make dynamite the tool they made safer and just explode where the user wants it to explore. This book tell us accidents sometimes just happen.

I Use To Be A Fish

The book we read today is called I Use To Be A fish is written and illustrated by Tom Sullivan, this book is made for the kid about grade 3-5 to let they had an idea of evolution.

In the story, a fish is tired of swimming, so it grows legs, then it changes to a monkey and then a human.

I like this book because it is very thoughtful, a fish evolved into a human because it feels too tired of swimming, this will never happen in real life. This book is peculiar, but also very fun, and it explained how species and evolution work by using a few pictures of blue, orange, and white.
